Born in Paris, she was employed in painting porcelain at Sèvres; a dessert service painted by her was given by Napoleon to Alexander I after Tilsit in 1807; she then entered the service of the Empress of Russia; she married the miniature painter Etienne-Charles Le Guay, whose portrait of her in miniature is in the Louvre. Her name is also spelled Jaquetot, and Jacuot.
