Painter and burnisher, op. 1750 - 1775
He worked as a fan painter before joining Vincennes in July 1750. He specialized in painting flowers and seems also to have undertaken the colouring of moulded naturalistic detail and/or blue shading. He also worked as a burnisher. He mainly decorated tea and service wares, but also plaques, bulb pots and a mounted vase.
Mademoiselle Binet, a gilder at Sèvres from 1775, and Joseph-François Binet, a thrower from 1776, were presumably his children.
