Pierre Croissant (active between: fl. 1721 - 1747)
Works of Art

Pierre Croissant was sponsored by Arnoult Georges when he became master in 1721. At that date he was living in rue de Pêcheurs in Paris. By 1742-43 he was in the place Dauphine, where he remained until 1747. On 30 January of that year, pieces of an old and unmarked snuffbox which had been consigned to him for completion were seized as being below standard. He appears to have retired or died after that date.
