  • Place of Death: Innsbruck
Works of Art

Probably born in Augburg in around 1470, Hans Seusenhofer went as a young man to Innsbruck, perhaps in the 1490s, where the Imperial Workshops were established by the Emperor Maximilan I. Hans' brother Konrad was made Court Armourer in 1504 and Hans is mentioned as an armourer at the Imperial Workshops in 1514. He was also Master of Heraldry to Maximilian I and later Court Armourer to Ferdinand I. He was ennobled in 1537, and died in 1555.
