Jacques Confesseur (1685 - 1759)

Confesseur lived from c.1685-1759. He was working for Charles Cressent by 21 February 1743, when his workshop in the rue de Taranne was raided by the guild of the fondeurs; the guild also raided a house in the rue Notre-Dame-des-Victoires, where Cressent had a workshop in which Confesseur also carried out casting and chasing.
