  • Parrying dagger, made up of a flattened, cylindrical pommel, with button, chased in low relief with entwined strapwork enclosing two small figures, and gilt; spirally fluted grip bound with gilt-copper wire; curved guard inclined outwards, broadening and terminating in disks; single side-ring, the guard is chased with strapwork like the pommel; blade of flattened diamond section and faceted ricasso. The point has been damaged. The metal of the whole hilt is fire-gilt.
