  • Knife, the handle and blade made in a single piece. The handle of baluster form, turned and chased with acanthus leaves and inlaid with four small plaques of lapis lazuli; vase-shaped pommel with a terminal of eight gadroons; small curved guard. Single-edged blade of triangular section with slightly curved cutting edge; ricasso of oblong section and part of the blade decorated with floral scrolls etched and gilt. The fork A909 is of similar workmanship but does not belong.
