  • The sitter, who has black hair, is depicted at bust-length, turning slightly to the right, but her whole face turned to the viewer. She wears a brown dress with a lace collar and a blue cloak embroidered with gold, secured by a jewelled clasp with pendant pearls. There is a resemblance between this sitter and numerous portraits of Marie Mancini, Princess Colonna (1639-1715), including those by Mignard and attributed to Jacob-Ferdinand Vouet. The author of this portrait miniature is unknown.
