  • Decorated with a green ground and painted in twelve white reserves with birds and flowers. Two lobed reserves on each piece contain birds perched on branches, and two contain sprays of flowers. The reserves with birds are edged with a gilded band and with gilded feathery scrolls on the outside of each lobe; those with flowers have a gilded band. The white branch-like handle of the cover has gilded outlines and veining on the leaves, and gilded berries.
