Almost nothing is known about the Landshut armourer Ulrich Rämbs. The attribution of the equestrian armour A21 to him is based on the presence of an ‘r’ mark on the shaffron, together with the Landshut city mark. Rämbs is documented as an armourer active in Landshut in the late fifteenth century.
