Louis appears to be unrecorded apart from the mark in pencil on F100, one of a pair of corner-cabinets (the other is F101). He was evidently not a member of the guild of menuisiers-ébénistes. He probably worked for Adrien Fleury (1721-1775), who was a retailer as well as a cabinet-maker. F100 bears a printed label 'AU PANIER FLEURY, / Rue de Fauxbourg S.Jacques.....etc'.
