  • Spur, one of a pair with A381. Of steel, with silver attached by hatching the surface of the steel. The sides and neck with right-angled bend are chiselled in the form of a knotted branch, the surface roughened to simulate the bark; star-shaped rowel of five points with smaller points between; openwork buckles (similar in form to no. A370) and double hooks remain intact upon both spurs.

A spur similarly decorated like a knotted branch is in the Royal Armouries (no.VI.387; Dufty and Reid, 1968, pl. CLXIVc).
