Sword, the hilt comprising a hHeavy wheel-type pommel, the faces formed into flattened cones, giving it nearly the same thickness in section as in diameter; straight four-sided guard, beveled to an almost octagonal section swelling slightly at the ends; the tang has a marked and sudden hollow on both sides which constitutes the base of the fuller of the blade; the grip missing. The blade itself is two-edged and slightly tapering, and has a marked central fuller on both sides flanked with ridged borders, varying in width and running nearly to the point.
